Through this series of photos, I look at life and create a narrative with the crane that anyone can relate to. I want to show special and pivotal moments like growing up and being with family, discovering the world, finding love, and leaving it.
I wanted it to be vague in a way that it could apply different meanings and interpretations. The body language of the cranes and the atmosphere they are enveloped in convey these ideas. The clock and dice symbolize time running out and the yellow cranes touching signify their love. I emphasize the themes through color and time of the day. Pink and dawn are for innocence and nurture or Green and day symbolize adventure and growth.
